There is a gap that drastically needs filled in the resources available to the homeless or almost homeless population. There are no emergency funds available for anything. There are so many $200 to $600 hiccups, that make the difference between keeping a place or landing in the downward spiral of long-term homelessness. And sometimes that is the amount to land someone into the start of housing with other positive things happening. 

“Silent Partners” a new segment of Hand Up Partners. How this works, I will have a private group text, where you don’t have to be bothered by everyone’s response, it will only come to me. I will tell you what the human emergency is and what is needed with a donation link. And you decide if and how much you’d like to donate to solve this problem. If we have 40 people to throw in $20 tax deductible donations, most of these problems are solved and the other resources can handle it from there.   I will never ask anyone to put money into anything that I am not putting my own money into.
