The Grow Room
There is a magical space at the Moravian Church (227 N. Queen St. 2nd floor) www.lancastermoravian.org/ where our homeless and housed community come together to work on creative and self-expressing projects most weekday afternoons, turning it into the “Grow Room”. Please scroll down to view schedule.
We are having poetry, art, music classes for all community and especially our folks with out homes. We would love to bring in GED classes, anything that lifts our Peeps up and brings all people to share common ground. If you have a class to share, we’d love to hear from you, dave@handuppartners.org and if you’d like to support our effort and donate to propel this act of love and common sense, we will be so grateful!
Besides the programs, staff, we will need to provide snacks, water and clean-up costs.

March 11th 1:30 -3:30 pm Your Recording Session Bringing studio sessions to the people. Hosted by creative mentor, artist, producer, Terian Mack. These sessions are meant to be a fun and creative way to let the people say what they would like to say. Share their voice. Whether it’s poetry, singing, rapping or even karaoke, this is your chance to come record a song or poem and even collaborate with other creative people!

March 17th 1:30 -3:30 pm Art Therapy Facilitated by experienced teaching artist Terian Mack, this program empowers students of all ages to relax, be present in the moment, and gain a deeper understanding of their emotions. Through hands-on creative activities, attendees will develop skills in self- expression and learn that art can be a powerful tool for personal growth.
